Client slipped and fell on grease as he was walking out of the store. We're not sure how the grease got on the floor, but an employee standing nearby stated 'I saw that grease there and I should have cleaned it.'  The client underwent an extended period of medical treatment including doctor visits, physical therapy, and surgery on his foot. His injury was very painful. We settled the case for $200,000 which was a significant victory as slip and fall cases can be very challenging to win.
